ALLIANTIE VOOR DE VREDE IN HET MIDDEN-OOSTEN
De Alliantie voor de Vrede in het Midden-Oosten brengt diverse mensen en organisaties samen vanuit de Christelijke en Joodse wereld. Hun doel is om 1) een interreligieuze dialoog op gang te brengen om co-existentie, tolerantie en een vrije meningsuiting te bevorderen, als antwoord op agressie en geweld, 2) om een gemeenschappelijke stem te zijn voor Israël en de Joodse gemeenschap in België – als enige hoop voor stabiliteit en gelijke rechten voor allen in het Midden-Oosten en 3) op te komen voor de rechten en de levens van vervolgde Christenen.
BELGISCHE COALITIE VOOR ISRAEL
De Belgische Coalitie voor Israël is een christelijke organisatie die streeft naar betere relaties tussen Israël en België. Ze staan naast het Joodse volk en proberen de christelijke gemeenschap bewust te maken van de Bijbelse waarheden over Israël en de huidige wereldgebeurtenissen. De BCI moedigt het vreedzaam samenleven tussen Joden en Arabieren aan en wil antisemitisme in al zijn vormen in België bestrijden, zowel in de media als in politieke ontwikkelingen. Daarnaast gelooft ze dat vriendschap en steun aan de Joodse mensen een Bijbelse opdracht is voor elke christen.
B’NAI B’RITH
B’nai B’rith (Kinderen van het Verbond) is de oudste Joodse dienstverlenende organisatie ter wereld. Het zet zich in voor de veiligheid en continuïteit van het Joodse volk en de staat Israël en werkt ook aan de bestrijding van antisemitisme. Haar missie is om personen van het joodse geloof te verenigen en de joodse identiteit te versterken, brede diensten te verlenen ten behoeve van senioren en belangenbehartiging en actie namens joden over de hele wereld te vergemakkelijken.
KOINONIA MINISTRIES
Koinonia is een christelijke interkerkelijke organisatie met vier voorname doelstellingen : ontwikkelingswerk, interkerkelijke eenheid, het Goede Nieuws brengen en verzoening. De organisatie is gevestigd in België en is de medeoprichter van het Shalomfestival en van de Belgische Coalitie voor Israël.
ORT BELGIUM
ORT is één van ’s werelds oudste en grootste Ngo’s die zich toelegt op onderwijs en beroepsopleiding en is opgericht in 1880 in Sint-Petersburg. World ORT is een leider in de toepassing en het onderwijs van geavanceerde technologie op middelbare school- en universiteitsniveau evenals in specifieke professionele trainingsprogramma’s. Het heeft elk jaar meer dan 250.000 studenten, joodse en niet-joodse, die haar programma’s, trainingscentra en scholen kunnen benutten in 100 landen over de hele wereld.
A-NET
A-Net is de grootste protestantse denominatie in België en heeft meer dan 100 aangesloten kerken. De organisatie vertegenwoordigd gemeentes met verschillende talen in heel België en gelooft dat alle raciale en culturele barrières in Christus zijn vernietigd en dat God wordt verheerlijkt door eenheid in verscheidenheid, in plaats van in uniformiteit.
CHRISTENEN VOOR ISRAEL
‘Christenen voor Israël’ wil in België, Nederland en wereldwijd bewustwording creëren over de betekenis van het Joodse volk in de Bijbel. Het geeft betrouwbare informatie over het land, het volk en de staat Israël en staat solidair met Israël en verwerpt elke vorm van antisemitisme.
CHRETIENS AMIS D’ISRAEL
‘Chretiens Amis d’Israel’ (Christen Vrienden van Israël) wil de christelijke wereld bewust maken van de verantwoordelijkheid van de Kerk tegenover het Joodse volk. Haar missie is om het volk Israël te ondersteunen en solidair met hen te zijn, door waar nodig informatie en praktische hulp te bieden.
JOODS ACTUEEL
Joods Actueel is de opvolger van het Belgisch Israëlitisch Weekblad, dat gesticht werd in 1954. Joods Actueel brengt nieuws, duiding en achtergrond over de belangrijkste gebeurtenissen op Joods vlak. Ook wordt er ruime aandacht besteed aan cultuur en religie. Lifestyle, boekrecensies, film, muziek komen natuurlijk ook aan bod. Joods Actueel is het enige Nederlandstalige Joodse magazine van België.
FORUM DER JOODSE ORGANISATIES
Sinds 1994 is het “FORUM” de officiële vertegenwoordiger van de joodse gemeenschap van België voor het Vlaamse landsgedeelte.De hoofddoeleinden van het FORUM hebben betrekking op o.a.:
- Opvoeding en herdenking van de Holocaust;
- Strijd tegen racisme, jodenhaat en tegen negationisme en xenophobie;
- Bevorderen van de solidariteit met de Staat Israël;
- Bevorderen van de verstandhouding en het onderling begrip binnen en buiten de joodse gemeenschap.
BELGIUM FRIENDS OF ISRAEL
‘Belgische Vrienden van Israël’ is een vzw die bruggen wil bouwen tussen beide landen. Wij zijn pro-Israël, pro-Palestijns en pro-vrede en geloven dat dialoog, samenwerking en goede wil de sleutel zijn tot een welvarende toekomst voor iedereen. Israël is een levendige westerse democratie met gelijke rechten voor iedereen, ongeacht ras, etniciteit, godsdienst, geslacht of vermogen. Helaas is er veel bevooroordeelde en verkeerde informatie over Israël. BFOI (Belgian Friends of Israel) wil dit rechtzetten door conferenties en reizen naar Israël te organiseren. Mensen kunnen dan zelf met de realiteit kennismaken.

ALLIANCE FOR PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
The Alliance for Peace in the Middle East brings together diverse people and organizations from the Christian and Jewish communities. Their aim is to 1) initiate an inter religious dialogue to promote coexistence, tolerance and free speech in response to aggression and violence, 2) to be a voice for Israel and the Jewish community in Belgium – as the only hope for stability and equal rights for all in the Middle East and 3) to stand up for the rights and lives of persecuted Christians.
BELGIAN COALITION FOR ISRAEL
The Belgian Coalition for Israel is a Christian organization that aims better relations between Israel and Belgium. The organisation stands with the Jewish people and brings awareness of the biblical truths about Israel and current world events to the Christian community. The BCI encourages peaceful coexistence between Jews and Arabs and wants to combat anti-Semitism in all its forms in Belgium, both in the media and in political developments.
B’NAI B’RITH
B’nai B’rith (Children of the Covenant) is the oldest Jewish service organization in the world. It is committed to the security and continuity of the Jewish people and the State of Israel and also works to combat anti-Semitism. Its mission is to unite persons of the Jewish faith and strengthen Jewish identity, provide broad services to the elderly and facilitate advocacy and action on behalf of Jews around the world.
KOINONIA MINISTRIES
Koinonia is a Christian interdenominational organization with four main objectives: development work, interdenominational unity, bringing the Good News in a contemporary and contextual way and reconciliation through bridge-building. The organization is based in Belgium and is the co-founder of the Shalom Festival and of the Belgian Coalition for Israel.
ORT BELGIUM
ORT is one of the world’s oldest and largest NGOs dedicated to education and vocational training, founded in 1880 in Saint Petersburg. World ORT is a leader in the application and education of advanced technology at the high school and college level as well as in specific professional training programs. It has more than 250,000 students, Jewish and non-Jewish, each year who can leverage its programs, training centers and schools in 100 countries around the world.
A-NET
A-Net is the largest Evangelical-Pentecostal denomination in Belgium and has more than 100 member churches. The organization represents congregations of different languages throughout Belgium and believes that all racial and cultural barriers have been destroyed in Christ and that God is glorified in unity in diversity, rather than in uniformity.
CHRISTIANS FOR ISRAEL
‘Christians for Israel’ wants to create awareness in Belgium, the Netherlands and worldwide about the meaning of the Jewish people in the Bible. It provides reliable information about the land, the people and the state of Israel, stands in solidarity with Israel and rejects any form of anti-Semitism.
CHRETIENS AMIS D’ISRAEL
‘Chretiens Amis d’Israel’ (Christian Friends of Israel) wants to make the Christian world aware of the responsibility of the Church towards the Jewish people. Its mission is to support and show solidarity with the people of Israel by providing information and practical assistance where necessary.
JOODS ACTUEEL
Joods Actueel is the successor of the Belgian Israelite journal, which was founded in 1954. Joods Actueel provides news, information and background on the most important events in the Jewish field. Much attention is also paid to culture and religion. Lifestyle, book reviews, film, music are of course also discussed. Joods Actueel is the only Dutch-language Jewish magazine in Belgium.
HET FORUM DER JOODSE ORGANISATIES
Since 1994, the “FORUM” has been the official representative of the Jewish community of Belgium for the Flemish part of the country. The main objectives of the FORUM relate to, among other things:
- Education and commemoration of the Holocaust;
- Fight against racism, hatred of Jews and against negationism and xenophobia;
- Promote solidarity with the State of Israel;
- Promoting understanding within and outside the Jewish community.
BELGIAN FRIENDS OF ISRAEL
‘Belgian Friends of Israel’ is a non-profit organization that wants to build bridges between the two countries. We are pro-Israel, pro-Palestinian and pro-peace and believe that dialogue, cooperation and goodwill are the keys to a prosperous future for all. Israel is a vibrant Western democracy with equal rights for all regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender or wealth. Unfortunately, there is a lot of biased and misinformation about Israel. BFOI wants to rectify this by organizing conferences and trips to Israel. People can then become acquainted with reality themselves.
